The Thai Automotive Industry Association, together with 6 leading automotive companies in the country, namely BMW, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, and Toyota, invites customers to have their vehicle's supplemental restraint system (airbag module) inspected and repaired free of charge. In the past, various automotive companies have initiated special recall campaigns since 2013 by sending invitation letters to eligible customers to receive service, as well as other public relations activities to encourage customers to come in for service. For vehicles classified as models produced from B.E. 2543 (A.D. 2000) onwards, car owners can use the chassis number to check preliminary information through the following channels:
