On Friday, December 5, 2025 (National Father's Day), the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) waives special toll fees, offering free expressway travel, on the occasion of the royal birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. This applies for 1 day, on 3 routes, totaling 63 toll booths, as follows:

Free MRT! National Father's Day 2025

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) organizes the "December 5th, Take Dad on MRT for Free" activity on National Father's Day, December 5, 2025, as follows:   

• Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) Purple Line
• Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) Blue Line

Participating in the activity is easy: simply bring your father to present himself and receive an MRT travel coupon (free for fathers) at any MRT ticket booth on both the Blue Line  and Purple Line throughout the service hours of that day (children pay their regular fare).
