The “48th Vintage Car Concours” has begun. Admire the legacy of automotive innovation at Future Park and Zpell.

Khwanchai Paphatphong, President of the Vintage Car Club of Thailand, revealed that the 48th Vintage Car Concours is held under the concept of “Legacy of Innovation”. This year, over 100 vintage and classic cars have been submitted for competition and display at Future Park and Zpell shopping centers.

The competition is divided into 7 categories: Veteran Car, Vintage Car, Post-Vintage Car, Pre-War Car, Post-War Car, Classic Car, and Contemporary Classic Car. There are also competitions for Replica Cars, Modified Cars, Special Built Cars, Jaguar Cars, Mini Cars, Volkswagen Cars, American Cars, Fiat Cars, and Original Japanese Cars.

Highlights include: Austin 7 Saloon 1933, a beautiful box-shaped car featured on this year's event poster / Rolls-Royce 20hp Saloon 1929, a vintage car nearly 100 years old / MG TB 1939, a pre-war open-top sports car / Nissan Skyline C110 Kenmeri 1973, a dream car for Japanese car collectors / Toyota Corolla Trueno 1973, a legendary classic sports car.

Kanlaya Kamonrat, Marketing Director of Future Park shopping center, stated that the event also features special activities for everyone to enjoy throughout, such as hunting for highlight cars through the Lucky Rally Scan activity, collecting missions to win special prizes, spinning the wheel of fortune for adorable vintage car models, and capturing memorable moments at the Photo Booth in a classic vintage atmosphere, which will help the new generation access and learn about legendary cars in a more fun and impressive way.

Other activities at the event include a seminar on vintage cars with the topic “Thailand's First Year of Vintage Car Imports: What Were the Results?”, a mini-concert by the Music Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, and sales of vintage items such as replica vintage cars, books, magazines, etc.
