Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) Public Company Limited, in collaboration with Xpeng, has established guidelines to accommodate changes in the excise tax structure, prioritizing continuity in vehicle delivery, competitiveness, and appropriate working capital management. Operations are divided into 3 phases.
Short-term: Import and delivery management
The company has established a framework with Xpeng to support sales and vehicle delivery during the transition period until approximately mid-2027, managing import volumes and stock by model based on bookings and market demand. The volume of vehicles ready for actual delivery depends on production cycles, shipping schedules, and import procedures according to applicable regulations. The company will review its plans periodically to ensure an appropriate level of vehicle availability while managing working capital and inventory risks.

Medium-term: Cost and pricing assessment by model
The company is monitoring the details of transition measures and relevant government criteria to assess the impact on costs and adjust business plans with Xpeng. Pricing will be considered on a model-by-model basis, taking into account post-tax costs, competitive conditions, customer response, and commercial support from the manufacturer. Currently, the company has not determined the proportion of tax cost pass-through to retail prices, as it will be considered appropriately for the market while also taking profit margins into account.

Long-term: Preparing plans to establish an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Thailand
Establishing an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Thailand is part of a long-term plan currently under preparation. The company is evaluating details with Xpeng regarding business feasibility, production volume, and the readiness of local parts manufacturers, including the ability to comply with Local Content requirements. The operating model and timeframe will be considered based on study results and relevant criteria, and the company will announce progress once a disclosable conclusion is reached.

MGC-Asia reaffirms its commitment to continuously conducting business with Xpeng in Thailand, prioritizing building customer confidence, maintaining product quality and after-sales service standards, as well as efficient business management. Under changing market conditions and government policies, the company is ready to work with business partners and relevant agencies to support the development of the Thai electric vehicle industry, as well as to create stable and sustainable long-term growth.
