The New Denza D9 is available in 2 sub-models: the Extended model with Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), delivering a maximum power of 340 kW, maximum torque of 365 Nm, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8.5 seconds, and a maximum range of 730 km according to NEDC standards; and the Performance AWD model with All-Wheel Drive (AWD), delivering a maximum power of 410 kW, maximum torque of 445 Nm, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.3 seconds, and a maximum range of 650 km according to NEDC standards. Both models come with the 115 kWh BYD 2nd Generation Blade Battery, 1000V BYD Flash Technology architecture, and the intelligent DiSus-C Dual-Valve suspension system.

The New Denza D9 features a 7-seat layout in a 2-2-3 configuration. The Performance AWD model elevates luxury with Nappa leather seats, genuine wood trim, and premium suede headliner. The Extended model comes with 2nd-row Zero Gravity seats, electrically adjustable with a 10-point massage system, while the Performance AWD model upgrades to 14-way electrically adjustable Air SPA Zero-Gravity seats with 16 massage points. The 3rd-row seats in both models are 4-way electrically adjustable and foldable, and also include heating and ventilation systems. The Performance AWD model adds heating and ventilation for the 3rd row and comes with two 12.8-inch multimedia screens for 2nd-row passengers, complete with an HD Webcam. It offers flexibility with rear cargo space expandable up to 2,436 liters, including 126 liters of under-floor storage, capable of accommodating up to seven 20-inch suitcases.
