The automotive market in Thailand in November recorded sales of 51,044 units, an increase of 20.6%. Toyota (Toyota) holds the No. 1 sales championship with a total market share for the first 11 months at 37.6%. Motor Expo 2025 bookings boost year-end sales.

Supakon Rattanawaraha, Senior Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., reported automotive sales statistics for November 2568 (2025). Total market sales were 51,044 units, an increase of 20.6% compared to the same period last year. The passenger car market had sales of 19,174 units, an increase of 6.5%, while the commercial vehicle market had sales of 31,870 units, an increase of 31.1%. And 1-ton pickup truck sales totaled 15,226 units, an increase of 5.5%.
The automotive market in November 2568 (2025) recorded sales of 51,044 units, an increase of 20.6% compared to the same period last year, indicating positive signs for the automotive market.
• Passenger car market: Sales of 19,174 units, an increase of 6.5% from last year.
• Commercial vehicle market: Significantly improved with sales of 31,870 units, an increase of 31.1%.
• 1-ton pickup truck market: Sales of 15,226 units, an increase of 5.5%.
For the first 11 months, cumulative car sales were 546,045 units, growing by 5.3% compared to the same period. 40% of this was the passenger car market, and the majority, over 60%, remained the commercial vehicle market, showing that the commercial vehicle market continues to be a crucial driver of the automotive industry in Thailand. Toyota has maintained its market leadership with a Pure Pickup market share of 48.5% from January to November 2568 (2025).

As for Toyota, it continues to hold the No. 1 position in the automotive market with cumulative sales for the first 11 months reaching 205,453 units, representing a market share of 37.6% and a growth of 3%, led by Pure Pickup (Hilux Champ, Revo, and Travo) at 62,502 units and the Eco Segment (Yaris and Yaris Ativ) at 56,471 units.
For HEV group vehicles, November sales were 11,594 units, an increase of 38.4% from the same period last year, and cumulative sales for the first 11 months reached 126,293 units, accounting for 51.1% of the total XEV market.
The automotive market in December shows a tendency to recover, with positive factors coming from the 42nd “Thailand International Motor Expo 2025” held from November 29th to December 10th, where each brand presented new car models and year-end promotional campaigns. This resulted in high bookings of 75,246 units, an increase of 38% compared to last year, marking the highest booking figure in the past 12 years and potentially contributing to the growth of the December automotive market.
