The Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I.) revealed automobile production statistics for November 2025: 130,222 units produced, an increase of 11.06%, comprising 9,624 electric passenger cars produced (up 1,974.14%) and 66 electric pickup trucks produced (up 100%). Sales were 51,044 units (up 20.65%), with 10,569 electric passenger cars (BEV) sold (up 91.50%) and 74 electric pickup trucks sold (up 100%). Exports totaled 78,692 units (down 12.22%), with 2,830 electric passenger cars exported (up 100%) and 45 electric pickup trucks exported (up 100%).

Surapong Paisitpatanapong, Advisor to the Chairman of the Automotive Industry Group and Spokesperson of the Automotive Industry Group, The Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I.), revealed the production volume, domestic sales, and exports of automobiles and motorcycles for the country in November 2025 as follows:
Production
The total number of automobiles produced in November 2025 was 130,222 units, a decrease of 4.03% from October 2025 but an increase of 11.06% from November 2024. This was due to a 57.49% increase in production for domestic sales, as electric vehicles must be produced to compensate at a rate of 1.5 times the imported EV sales in 2022-2023 that were not fully produced last year. This resulted in an increase in EV production by 1,974.14% and pickup truck production increased by 7.34% due to a 44.31% increase in production for domestic sales.
The total number of automobiles produced from January-November 2025 was 1,341,714 units, a decrease of 1.64% from January-November 2024.
Passenger Cars: In November 2025, 52,887 units were produced, an increase of 16.26% from November 2024.
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger cars: 20,892 units, a decrease of 27.65% from November 2024.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger cars: 9,624 units, an increase of 1,974.14% from November 2024.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) passenger cars: 437 units, an increase of 13.21% from November 2024.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) passenger cars: 21,934 units, an increase of 39.13% from November 2024.
Passenger car production from January-November 2025 totaled 504,597 units, equivalent to 37.82% of total production, a decrease of 2.90% from January-November 2024.
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger cars: 229,719 units, a decrease of 30.56% from January-November 2024.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger cars: 60,200 units, an increase of 609.07% from January-November 2024.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) passenger cars: 16,921 units, an increase of 210.31% from January-November 2024.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) passenger cars: 197,757 units, an increase of 13.04% from January-November 2024.
No production of passenger buses under 10 tons and over 10 tons in November 2025. Total production for January-November 2025 was also zero.
Trucks: In November 2025, a total of 77,335 units were produced, an increase of 7.77% from November 2024. And from January-November 2025, a total of 837,117 units were produced, a decrease of 0.86% from January-November 2024.
1-ton pickup trucks: In November 2025, a total of 76,022 units were produced, an increase of 7.34% from November 2024, and
from January-November 2025, a total of 827,446 units were produced, equivalent to 62.39% of total production, a decrease of 0.13% from January-November 2024.
• Pickup trucks (cargo): 129,036 units, a decrease of 1.52% from January-November 2024.
• Double Cab pickup trucks: 527,950 units, a decrease of 3.33% from January-November 2024.
• Double Cab BEV pickup trucks: 321 units, an increase of 100% from January-November 2024.
• PPV pickup trucks: 170,139 units, an increase of 12.40% from January-November 2024.
Trucks under 5 tons to over 10 tons: In November 2025, 1,313 units were produced, an increase of 40.13% from November 2024. Total for January-November 2025: 9,671 units produced, a decrease of 39.12% from January-November 2024.

Production for Export
In November 2025, 71,589 units were produced, accounting for 54.97% of total production, a decrease of 10.54% from November 2024. For January-November 2025, production for export reached 862,886 units, accounting for 64.31% of total production, a decrease of 8.39% from the same period in 2024.
Passenger cars: In November 2025, 16,818 units were produced for export, a decrease of 29.71% from November 2024. And from January-November 2025, a total of 192,314 units were produced for export, accounting for 38.11% of passenger car production, a decrease of 31.50% from January-November 2024.
1-ton pickup trucks: In November 2025, production for export totaled 54,771 units, a decrease of 2.36% from November 2024. And from January-November 2025, a total of 670,572 units were produced for export, accounting for 80.10% of pickup truck production, an increase of 1.42% from January-November 2024.
• Pickup trucks (cargo): 70,321 units, an increase of 25.41% from January-November 2024.
• Double Cab pickup trucks: 473,223 units, a decrease of 2.17% from January-November 2024.
• PPV pickup trucks: 127,028 units, an increase of 4.62% from January-November 2024.
Production for Domestic Sale
In November 2025, 58,633 units were produced, accounting for 45.03% of total production, an increase of 57.49% from November 2024. And for January-November 2025, 478,828 units were produced, accounting for 35.69% of total production, an increase of 13.42% from January-November 2024.
Passenger cars: In November 2025, 36,069 units were produced for domestic sale, an increase of 67.25% from November 2024. And from January-November 2024, 312,283 units were produced, accounting for 61.89% of passenger car production. When compared to January-November 2024, it increased by 30.69%.
1-ton pickup trucks: In November 2025, production for domestic sale totaled 21,251 units, an increase of 44.31% from November 2024. And from January-November 2025, a total of 156,874 units were produced, accounting for 18.74% of pickup truck production, and a decrease of 6.25% from January-November 2024.
• Pickup trucks (cargo): 58,715 units, a decrease of 21.66% from January-November 2024.
• Double Cab pickup trucks: 55,048 units, a decrease of 11.84% from January-November 2024.
• PPV pickup trucks: 43,111 units, an increase of 43.95% from January-November 2024.
Passenger buses under 10 tons and over 10 tons: No production in November 2025. Total production for January-November 2025 was also zero.
Trucks under 5 tons to over 10 tons: In November 2025, 1,313 units were produced, an increase of 40.13% from November 2024. Total for January-November 2025: 9,671 units produced, a decrease of 39.12% from January-November 2024.

Motorcycles
In November 2025, a total of 199,640 motorcycles were produced, an increase of 3.15% from November 2024. Divided into 146,167 Complete Built-Up (CBU) motorcycles, a decrease of 1.33% from 2024, and 53,473 Completely Knocked Down (CKD) motorcycle parts, an increase of 17.79% from 2024.
Motorcycle production from January-November 2025 totaled 2,268,275 units, an increase of 2.00% from 2024. Divided into 1,811,598 Complete Built-Up (CBU) motorcycles, an increase of 4.50% from 2024, and 456,677 Completely Knocked Down (CKD) motorcycle parts, a decrease of 6.85% from 2024.
Sales
Domestic automobile sales in November 2025 totaled 51,044 units, an increase of 8.53% from October 2025 and an increase of 20.65% from November 2024. This was due to increased sales of electric passenger cars as prices become more affordable, and from PPV modified pickup trucks that some companies just started selling this year, electric pickup trucks, and range-extended electric pickup trucks that started selling this year. Additionally, stronger financial evidence from pickup truck buyers helped prevent a decrease in pickup truck sales for the first time this month. We thank the Bank of Thailand for reducing the policy interest rate, which will ease the burden on hire-purchase customers and debtors, allowing them to repay more principal, have more disposable income for other essential goods, meet production standards, increase employment, and boost public income, thereby initiating economic growth.
Passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 33,300 units, accounting for 65.24% of total sales, an increase of 31.02% from the same month last year.
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 10,446 units, accounting for 20.46% of total sales, a decrease of 12.99% from the same month last year.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 10,569 units, accounting for 20.71% of total sales, an increase of 91.50% from the same month last year.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 584 units, accounting for 1.14% of total sales, an increase of 161.88% from the same month last year.
• Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 73 units, accounting for 0.14% of total sales, an increase of 100% from the same month last year.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 11,628 units, accounting for 22.78% of total sales, an increase of 53.02% from the same month last year.
Pickup trucks: 11,502 units, an increase of 0.18% from the same month last year. Electric pickup trucks (BEV): 74 units (no sales last year). REEV pickup trucks: 4 units (no sales last year). PPV vehicles: 3,646 units, an increase of 23.43% from the same month last year. 5-10 ton trucks: 1,419 units, an increase of 20.15% from the same month last year. Other vehicle types: 1,099 units, a decrease of 18.35% from the same month last year.
Motorcycle sales: 128,430 units, a decrease of 3.95% from October 2024 and a decrease of 6.00% from November 2024.
From January-November 2025, automobile sales totaled 546,045 units, an increase of 5.28% from 2024, divided as:
Passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 352,689 units, accounting for 64.59% of total sales, an increase of 13.90% from the same period last year.
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 117,043 units, accounting for 21.43% of total sales, a decrease of 9.58% from the same period last year.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 100,553 units, accounting for 18.41% of total sales, an increase of 63.65% from the same period last year.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 8,020 units, accounting for 1.47% of total sales, an increase of 281.18% from the same period last year.
• Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 721 units, accounting for 0.13% of total sales, an increase of 100% from the same period last year.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) passenger cars and passenger-type vehicles: 126,352 units, accounting for 23.14% of passenger car and passenger-type vehicle sales, an increase of 19.84% from the same period last year.
Pickup trucks: 128,189 units, a decrease of 13.93% from the same period last year. Electric pickup trucks (BEV): 646 units (no sales last year). REEV pickup trucks: 17 units (no sales last year). PPV vehicles: 38,456 units, an increase of 18.88% from the same period last year. 5-10 ton trucks: 13,749 units, a decrease of 6.87% from the same period last year. Other vehicle types: 12,299 units, a decrease of 5.09% from the same period last year.
Motorcycle sales: 1,557,482 units, an increase of 1.22% from January-November 2024.

Exports of Complete Built-Up (CBU) Automobiles
In November 2025, 78,692 units were exported, a decrease of 5.26% from the previous month and a decrease of 12.22% from November 2024. This was due to the discontinuation of production of some internal combustion engine (ICE) passenger car models for export. This resulted in a 43.53% decrease in ICE passenger car exports and a 6.39% decrease in pickup truck exports. However, exports of electric pickup trucks and electric passenger cars have continued since mid-year. Only Asia, Australia, and Oceania saw increased export markets, and automobile parts exports increased by 6.19%.
Automobile export categories for November 2025 are divided as:
• Pickup trucks: 44,235 units, accounting for 56.21% of total exports, a decrease of 6.39% from 2024.
• BEV pickup trucks: 45 units, accounting for 0.06% of total exports (no exports in 2024).
• ICE passenger cars: 15,064 units, accounting for 19.14% of total exports, a decrease of 43.53% from 2024.
• BEV passenger cars: 2,830 units, accounting for 3.60% of total exports (no BEV passenger car exports in 2024).
• PHEV passenger cars: 89 units, accounting for 0.11% of total exports (no PHEV passenger car exports in 2024).
• HEV passenger cars: 4,780 units, accounting for 6.07% of total exports, an increase of 33.26% from 2024.
• PPV vehicles: 11,649 units, accounting for 14.80% of total exports, an increase of 3.94% from 2024.
The export value of automobiles was 52,219.97 million Baht, a decrease of 9.90% from November 2024. However, engine and parts exports increased.
• Engines: export value of 2,706.84 million Baht, an increase of 6.22% from November 2024.
• Other automobile parts: export value of 15,492.29 million Baht, an increase of 6.19% from November 2024.
• Automobile spare parts: export value of 2,212.92 million Baht, a decrease of 2.34% from November 2024.
Total export value of automobiles, engines, automobile parts, and spare parts in November 2025 was 72,632.02 million Baht, a decrease of 6.52% from November 2024.
Motorcycles
In November 2025, motorcycle exports totaled 80,554 units (including CBU+CKD), a decrease of 10.07% from October 2025 but a decrease of 0.83% from November 2024, with a value of 5,160.90 million Baht, a decrease of 11.86% from November 2024.
• Motorcycle parts: total export value of 221.63 million Baht, an increase of 2.65% from November 2024.
• Motorcycle spare parts: total export value of 248.76 million Baht, an increase of 186.61% from November 2024.
Total export value of motorcycles, parts, and motorcycle spare parts in November 2025 was 5,631.29 million Baht, a decrease of 8.56% from November 2024.
In November 2025, the total export value of CBU automobiles, engines, other automobile parts, automobile spare parts, motorcycles, parts, and motorcycle spare parts was 78,263.31 million Baht, a decrease of 6.67% from 2024.
Complete Built-Up (CBU) Automobiles
From January-November 2025, CBU automobile exports totaled 850,787 units, a decrease of 9.77% from the same period last year, divided as:
• Pickup trucks: 519,254 units, accounting for 61.03% of total exports, a decrease of 2.73% from 2024.
• BEV pickup trucks: 287 units, accounting for 0.03% of total exports (no exports in 2024).
• ICE passenger cars: 149,178 units, accounting for 17.53% of total exports, a decrease of 37.22% from 2024.
• BEV passenger cars: 6,335 units, accounting for 0.74% of total exports (no exports in 2024).
• PHEV passenger cars: 1,407 units, accounting for 0.17% of total exports (no exports in 2024).
• HEV passenger cars: 48,433 units, accounting for 5.69% of total exports, an increase of 7.79% from 2024.
• PPV vehicles: 125,904 units, accounting for 14.80% of total exports, a decrease of 0.46% from 2024.
The export value of automobiles was 567,983.18 million Baht, a decrease of 12.18% from January-November 2024, with details as follows:
• Engines: export value of 34,482.25 million Baht, an increase of 6.18% from January-November 2024.
• Other automobile parts: export value of 179,851.55 million Baht, an increase of 2.03% from January-November 2024.
• Automobile spare parts: export value of 24,866.88 million Baht, an increase of 1.85% from January-November 2024.
Total export value of automobiles, engines, automobile parts, and spare parts for January-November 2025 was 807,183.86 million Baht, a decrease of 8.27% from January-November 2024.
Motorcycles
From January-November 2568, motorcycle exports totaled 815,356 units (including CBU+CKD), a decrease of 4.92% from 2024, with a value of 56,404.08 million Baht, a decrease of 3.76% from 2024.
• Motorcycle parts: total export value of 2,161.87 million Baht, a decrease of 9.88% from 2024.
• Motorcycle spare parts: total export value of 2,470.73 million Baht, an increase of 37.90% from 2024.
Total export value of motorcycles, parts, and motorcycle spare parts for January-November 2025 was 61,036.68 million Baht, a decrease of 2.80% from January-November 2024.
From January-November 2025, the total export value of CBU automobiles, engines, other automobile parts, automobile spare parts, motorcycles, parts, and motorcycle spare parts was 868,220.54 million Baht, a decrease of 7.90% from 2024.

New Registration BEV Electric Vehicles in November 2025
In November 2025, newly registered Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) totaled 12,436 units, an increase of 69.11% from November last year, categorized as:
• Passenger cars and various car types: a total of 10,621 units, an increase of 95.63% from November 2024.
o Passenger cars: 10,351 units
o Passenger vehicles not exceeding 7 persons: 267 units
o Business service vehicles: 1 unit
o Touring service vehicles: 2 units
• Pickup trucks and vans: a total of 75 units, an increase of 275% from November 2024.
• Motorcycles: a total of 1,664 units, a decrease of 2.97% from November 2024.
o Personal motorcycles: 1,664 units
• Three-wheeled motor vehicles: a total of 2 units, a decrease of 100% from November 2024.

o Business service vehicles: 7 units
• Motorcycles: a total of 66 units, an increase of 24.53% from November 2024.
From January-November 2025, cumulative newly registered Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) totaled 129,324 units, an increase of 6.68% from January-November last year, divided as:
• Passenger cars and various car types: a total of 128,442 units, an increase of 6.41% from January-November 2024.
o Passenger cars: 287,107 units
o Passenger vehicles not exceeding 7 persons: 32 units
o Business service vehicles: 173 units
o Touring service vehicles: 124 units

• Motorcycles: a total of 882 units, an increase of 69.94% from January-November 2024.

In November 2025, newly registered Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) totaled 1,072 units, an increase of 39.40% from November last year, categorized as:

From January-November 2025, cumulative newly registered Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) totaled 17,547 units, an increase of 98.23% from January-November last year, categorized as:

o Passenger cars: 585,233 units, an increase of 29.10% from the same period in 2024.
o Passenger taxi vehicles: 516 units, an increase of 4.24% from the same period in 2024.
o Business service vehicles: 248 units, an increase of 239.73% from the same period in 2024.
o Touring service vehicles: 342 units, an increase of 62.09% from the same period in 2024.
o Rental service vehicles: 11 units, an increase of 120% from the same period in 2024.
