Motor Expo 2026

SAIC Motor-CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of MG (EMGEE) automobiles in Thailand, revealed 4,827 bookings at Motor Expo 2025. Amidst the final surge of the EV3.0 support measures, the EV segment was as strong as expected, with the 3 most popular models being the New MG S5 EV Plus, followed by the New MG4 Electric, and the New MG IM6 

Phongsak Loetruediwattanawong, Deputy Managing Director of MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated that Motor Expo 2025 has been the most active year in many years, both in terms of the increasing variety of car brands available and the growing number of customers interested in electric vehicles. Based on customer feedback collected at the MG booth, it was found that apart from considering design, driving performance, price, and value for money, this year's customers clearly placed more importance on long-term care, warranty, and after-sales service. The main factor that gave customers confidence and led them to decide to book MG electric vehicles was the Lifetime Warranty for the high-voltage battery, drive motor assembly, and motor control unit, which comes with the vehicle and is unlimited in terms of both mileage and ownership. This also includes MG's enhanced after-sales service, covering service centers, expert technician standards, and spare parts readiness to support customers nationwide.

For MG's car bookings at this year's event, 4,827 units, which is a 46% increase from last year. The popular New MG S5 EV Plus recorded 1,737 bookings, and the New MG 4 Electric recorded 1,568 bookings. In the premium segment, including MG IM6, MG Maxus 9, MG Maxus 7, and MG Cyberster, total bookings were 950 units. The internal combustion engine and alternative energy vehicle group, including All New MG3 Hybrid+, MG5 MG VS HEV, MG HS, and MG ZS, totaled 440 units. In addition to the increased bookings, customers also showed the highest interest in booking test drives, and after test driving, over 90% of customers immediately decided to book a car. This truly reflects the customers' confidence in the quality, innovation, and value for money of MG vehicles.
