2 Sports Models from Different Brands in JDM Racing Style By Aek Garage

The strategy of many car manufacturers often captivates speed-loving customers by releasing special or sports models, enhancing them with a sleek look or performance superior to regular models. And if the production volume is limited to only a few units worldwide, such cars come with sky-high prices and become rare items. However, this is not an issue for the target group of customizers who have the voice in their head saying, 'You've got to have it'.

In Thailand, Japanese car brands like Honda and Toyota both have quite a few devoted fans. Currently, the sports car model that is Honda's new-era champion must be the Honda Civic Type R (FL5), a road car born for the track, balancing both power and precise control. It features the K20C1 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine, along with a new suspension system that is more balanced than the previous model. As for the Toyota brand, it was developed by Gazoo Racing, bringing the GR designation before model names such as GR 86, GR Supra, and GR Yaris, all embodying the concept of road cars born from the race track.

With the rare-item-level sportiness of both car brands, we present two sports models from different manufacturers, the Honda Civic Type R (FL5) and the Toyota GR Yaris, newly customized in JDM Racing style by Aek Garage at the Motor Expo 2025, in the Motorsport Zone (Challenger 3), available for viewing from today - December 10, 2025.

Both cars have been newly customized according to Aek Garage's formula, focusing on making the look even more sporty in JDM style, while also elevating the car's performance, yet maintaining a perfect balance of fun and easy daily driving. Starting with Honda Civic Type R (FL5), the exterior is enhanced with a full carbon body kit, paired with sport-patterned black 18-inch Enkei GTC02 wheels. Inside, a high-performance (front-rear) Endless brake kit is installed, fitted with Bridgestone RE71RS tires size 275/35R18, and the cabin is packed with many more famous brand accessories.

Moving to the Toyota side with the GR Yaris, a small sports hatchback that inherits DNA from the WRC race track, offering an enjoyable drive with its G16E-GTE 3-cylinder 1.6-liter engine, 6-speed manual transmission, and 4-wheel drive system. Its weight is reduced by using aluminum material and a carbon roof. Aek Garage further enhances its sportiness with a full sports body kit from Varis, highlighted by beautiful gold 18-inch Enkei GTC02 wheels, along with front and rear brake kits from Endless, fitted with Bridgestone RE71RS tires size 235/40R18, and a suspension system from Cusco.
