Volvo Car Thailand launched the new Volvo XC60 at the "42nd Motor Expo", continuing its commitment to offering technology that meets drivers' needs and true Scandinavian-style design.
Additionally, Volvo Car Thailand has transformed this year's exhibition area into a pine forest inspired by nature in the Scandinavian forests. This is the first time a car exhibition has been presented with a green space adorned with pine trees and various types of plants, to convey the concept of sustainability and reflect the philosophy of Scandinavian design. Those interested can experience the new Volvo XC60 and the beauty of Scandinavian nature at the Volvo Car booth from today until December 10, 2025, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Challenger Hall 1-3.

Chris Wales, Managing Director of Volvo Car Thailand and Malaysia, stated that the Volvo XC60 was first launched in 2017 and is another highly popular Volvo model, proven by sales of over 1.5 million units worldwide. Due to the car's versatility that meets family usage needs on various occasions, its sleek and contemporary Scandinavian design, improved cabin comfort, and software that can be continuously updated to enhance performance via Over-the-Air system, the new Volvo XC60 will provide an even better driving and passenger experience for users. The launch of this model today also reiterates Volvo Car's commitment to offering electric driving power with fuel as a backup plan, which is a key feature of plug-in hybrid vehicles, to accommodate the diverse needs and readiness of our customers for electric vehicles.
Experience Nature with Scandinavian Inspiration at the Volvo Car Booth
For the first time in Thailand, the 731 sq.m. Volvo exhibition area has been transformed into a pine forest inspired by the natural forests of Scandinavia, telling a story of the perfect balance between nature and innovation that can coexist harmoniously. This was skillfully designed by actor and talented landscape designer Duk Phanudet Wattanasuchat, who designed the Volvo booth at this year's Motor Expo to reflect the beautiful, peaceful, and serene atmosphere of a Scandinavian forest through pine trees over 7 meters tall, moss-covered rocks and ferns, and various wildflowers, arranged to convey simplicity, warmth, and a connection to nature. This is the design philosophy of the Swedish brand Volvo, where simplicity and sustainability perfectly reflect the brand's values and identity.

New Volvo XC60: The Beauty of Design and Practicality in Use
The new Volvo XC60 comes with a diagonal left and right grille across a mesh grate adorned with the Volvo emblem in the center, making this 5-seater car look more striking, modern, and premium than before. The rear of the car has also been restyled to give the taillight frames more dimension, with darker tones around the light frames, giving the unique taillight view of this model a floating, more distinct appearance than ever before. The new Volvo XC60 also debuts with the Forest Lake green color, which is being introduced for the first time.
Upgraded Usability with a Larger Screen and Faster Responding Infotainment System
The car comes with a new generation infotainment system, providing a better user experience than ever before through a larger 11.2-inch touchscreen, up from 9 inches, positioned in the center of the car's front console. It also enhances the passenger experience with features and screen displays that prioritize safety.
