In April 2023, domestic car sales totaled 59,530 units, a decrease of 6.14% from the same month last year and a decrease of 25.53% from the previous month. Car sales decreased due to stricter loan approvals by financial institutions, as household debt is high and interest rates are on an upward trend.

Although overall car sales from January - April 2023 totaled 276,603 units, a decrease of 6.11% compared to the same period in 2022, however, total car sales across all segments in April 2023 found that "Toyota" Toyota still had the highest sales at 19,565 units, followed by "Isuzu" Isuzu with 13,336 units, and "Honda" Honda with 6,409 units.
