This resulted in domestic car sales for December 2022 totaling 82,799 units, although it decreased by 9.02% from December 2021. The decrease was due to reduced production caused by a shortage of semiconductor parts for some car models and flooding issues in some areas, despite the country's economy improving with over 10 million foreign tourists and consistent increases in investment and employment.
