Did you know! Writing the letters "Ambulance" or, as we call it in Thailand, "Rot Phayaban" backward on the front of an ambulance is intentional. This is so that the car in front, looking in its rearview mirror, can immediately read the word ambulance without having to reverse left-right again, which follows the normal principle of mirror reflection. When combined with the flashing lights and siren, they will immediately yield the way to transport the patient to the hospital as quickly as possible!

If anyone doesn't know how to yield to an ambulance or an emergency vehicle, watch this Clip for guidance to swiftly assist the patient in the vehicle, because sometimes that minute could be 'a matter of life and death' for someone in that car.
|Because we believe many drivers are kind-hearted and ready to yield to ambulances and emergency vehicles saving lives, but don't know how to act? Which way to move? The traffic ahead is stuck! Or cars next to them don't help by moving a little to open the way!!? |A livable society>starts with us|
