Nowadays, it doesn't rain long before floods are everywhere. Car users have no way to "avoid" and are forced to "risk" driving through floods unavoidably, and subsequent damage occurs. If repairs are necessary due to driving through floods, both for insured and uninsured cars, let's look at the assessment of labor costs for repairing flood-damaged cars, which the Thai General Insurance Association announced as standard repair prices for flood-affected areas in 2017, to be used as a criterion to prohibit garages from overcharging, according to 4 levels of damage as follows: 

Level A  Above the carpet and car floor, 15 main items, 8,000-10,000 Baht

Level B  Above the seat, 26 main items, 15,000-20,000 Baht

Level C Above the dashboard and console, 39 main items, 25,000-30,000 Baht

Level D Above the car roof, may require reimbursement of capital, initial labor cost approximately 30,000 Baht

"Each price level does not include paint labor costs and spare part costs. Replacements will only be made for damaged parts that cannot be repaired. These prices are not limited to insured cars only but can also be used by general customers without insurance, serving as a reference price that can estimate car repair costs. It is to create a standard price for car repairs and build confidence for policyholders and the public in bringing their flood-damaged cars for repair."
